An Industry Working Group, comprised of Global Publication Directors at small, medium, and large pharmaceutical companies and MedComms Experts, has collaborated to improve publication strategy processes. These efforts have resulted in a customizable publication planning framework designed to empower Medical Affairs professionals to plan effectively and demonstrate strategic value within their organizations.
This didactic session will address the current state of industry practices for publication planning, highlighting common pain points such as the lack of a uniform strategic approach. It will emphasize the importance of standardizing publication planning practices and incorporating a broad spectrum of digital omnichannel tactics, such as publication extenders, early in the process to build strategic value and ensure adequate internal and external resources (eg, funding, people, and time).
